Dr Jennifer Dawson

Dr Jennifer Dawson joined the Royal Women’s Hospital as a Neonatal Research Nurse in November 2005 and is now the clinical trial coordinator for the PLUSS trial. She trained as a nurse and completed a PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2010. Her research interests include delivery room clinical trials, managing oxygen therapy in the delivery, and mentoring student researchers. Her research has led to over 100 publications with many incorporated in the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines for delivery room management of newly born infants. Jennifer is also an Associate investigator on the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Newborn Medicine.

Jennifer is the clinical trial coordinator for the PLUSS trial, is part of the Trial Management Team and sits on the Trial Steering Committee.
